Trainee Design Engineer

Role Overview

LEDFlex Group was established in 2010 after identifying a gap in the market for a more comprehensive range of linear lighting products and has now grown into a leading technology supplier. We design, develop and manufacture LED lighting solutions for the UK and International markets. At LEDFlex we continue to lead the way in performance, efficiency and ecological friendly exterior and interior projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, expertise in conceptualizing within the 3D space, and proficiency in using design software such as Autodesk and Adobe. You should be capable of translating conceptual ideas into detailed designs and possess a deep understanding of materials, tolerances, and fabrication techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Assist in developing 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings.

· Using Inventor to create accurate 3D models using assemblies and parts.

· Support the team in creating technical documentation.

· Learn and support in design validation and revisions.

· Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects.

· Assisting the design process of sample kits including 3D models, drawings.

Key Skills Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in a technical-related field (i.e Engineering, product design,3d design, etc).

· AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360.

· Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product development.

· Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

· Confidence in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and schedules efficiently.

· Possess a creative outlook with an exceptional eye for detail.

· Passionate about marketing, engineering, and innovation in the lighting industry.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience:

· 3D Modelling – Fresher or up to 1 year (Required)

· Drafting - Fresher or up to 1 year (Required)

· Autodesk Inventor - Fresher or up to 1 year (Required)

Language:English (Required).
