The Project
Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi recently underwent a transformative refurbishment, aiming to redefine its position as a leading retail destination. In partnership with Nulty+, Huda Lighting, and Bill Johnson Technical Services LLC (JTS), LEDFlex played a pivotal role in designing and implementing bespoke lighting solutions for the mall's facade and landscape, demonstrating a comprehensive approach encompassing design, programming, and commissioning.
The mall's distinctive triangular facade design was accentuated using LEDFlex's Ultimo Neon 16 Silicone Pixel. This durable, IP68-rated Neon solutions offers longevity and resilience against harsh outdoor conditions. LEDFlex's expertise in lighting control systems and programming facilitated the creation of high-resolution, dynamic lighting displays that enhance the mall's visual appeal.
In addition to the facade, LEDFlex addressed other exterior elements. The mall's stairway is illuminated with Ultimo Neon 10 SV, enhancing spatial definition and safety. The exterior water feature was further integrated with Ultimo Neon Maxi, transforming it into a captivating visual centrepiece that complements the mall's architectural design.
The revitalised exterior lighting of Marina Mall not only creates a spectacular first impression but also reinforces the mall's status as a modern and vibrant destination. The fusion of art and engineering in the facade lighting design underscores LEDFlex's commitment to innovation and technical excellence.
