Wildwood Lodge, located in North End on the edge of Hampstead Heath, is a semi-detached period house built in the early 19th century with two later extensions. This historic site needed a significant transformation and was to be restored and extended, converting from a partial derelict building into a luxurious home suitable for modern family life.

Lighting Designer, Phoebus Design, requested LED lighting which resembled natural light but could also be adjusted in temperature which was to be fitted above the 11-metre pool. Our Hydro Line is not only ideal for humid environments but is also available in a mix of colour temperatures so it can be adjusted to daylight or nightlight – making it the perfect choice. The swimming pool was eventually in nomination for the best ‘Residential Swimming Pool’ category in the International Design and Architecture Awards 2016.

Additionally, Phoebus Design required warm lighting for a calming effect for the extravagant walk-through shower. Keeping this in mind, we installed Eco Flex to illuminate the natural limestone floor and to the high vaulted ceiling in order to create an illusion of space. The bathroom was shortlisted for the best 'Bathroom Award' category in the International Design and Architecture Awards 2016.
